KPV 10mg (10 vials) is a synthetic tripeptide used in laboratory research to study peptide structure, receptor interactions, and inflammatory signaling pathways in controlled experimental systems. This product is supplied strictly for research use only. It is not approved or intended for human or animal use, and any discussion of biological activity refers only to preclinical or in vitro research.
Because KPV represents a specific portion of α-MSH, it maintains certain mechanistic characteristics without exerting pigment-related or hormonal effects. These attributes make it a valuable tool for researchers aiming to investigate inflammation-associated mechanisms while avoiding activation of melanocortin-linked endocrine pathways. As ongoing studies continue to explore its potential, KPV remains a notable candidate for controlled laboratory experiments involving cytokine behavior, mucosal environments, and dermal or epithelial research models.
Ongoing preclinical investigations continue to evaluate KPV in research models involving cytokine regulation, mucosal environments, and dermal or epithelial systems. For laboratory consistency and reproducibility, KPV is commonly supplied as a high-purity, LPS-free peptide, produced under controlled conditions. Each batch is formulated as an endotoxin-free peptide and undergoes verification as research peptides endotoxin tested, supporting its suitability for sensitive in-vitro and ex-vivo experimental applications.
For research use only. Not for human or animal use. This material is intended exclusively for laboratory and scientific research purposes.
KPV is a synthetic tripeptide analogue of alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone (α-MSH). In laboratory and controlled preclinical research settings, KPV is studied for its activity in inflammatory signaling, epithelial barrier behavior, and immune-response pathways. This product is supplied strictly for research use only. It is not approved or intended for human or animal use, and any discussion of biological activity refers only to preclinical or in vitro research.
Anti-Inflammatory Properties
In laboratory research, KPV is examined for its effects on inflammatory pathways and tissue-response markers in controlled experimental systems. Preclinical studies may evaluate changes in inflammatory cell infiltration, enzyme activity, and histopathological markers of tissue injury. Any references to mucosal or recovery-related endpoints are provided only for research context and do not imply therapeutic or clinical use.
Mechanistic Insights and Clinical Significance
Mechanistic investigations have explored how KPV influences inflammatory signaling pathways in controlled laboratory models. Researchers may study how localized delivery affects experimental readouts in gastrointestinal, epithelial, or immune-system models. This information is included for scientific context only and does not constitute a claim of therapeutic benefit or approved medical use.

In in-vitro and ex-vivo research environments, KPV is studied for its ability to influence inflammatory cytokines through interactions with the melanocortin-1 receptor (MC1R). This selective receptor engagement makes the peptide useful in controlled experiments analyzing chronic inflammatory responses, autoimmune-like model environments, dysregulated immune pathways, and cytokine-cascade markers.

Storage Instructions:
All of our products are manufactured using the Lyophilization (Freeze Drying) process, which ensures that our products remain 100% stable for shipping for up to 3-4 months.
Once the peptides are reconstituted (mixed with bacteriostatic water), they must be stored in the fridge to maintain stability. After reconstitution, the peptides will remain stable for up to 30 days.
Lyophilization is a unique dehydration process, also known as cryodesiccation, where the peptides are frozen and then subjected to low pressure. This causes the water in the peptide vial to sublimate directly from solid to gas, leaving behind a stable, crystalline white structure known as lyophilized peptide. The puffy white powder can be stored at room temperature until you’re ready to reconstitute it with bacteriostatic water.
Once peptides have been received, it is imperative that they are kept cold and away from light. If the peptides will be used immediately, or in the next several days, weeks or months, short-term refrigeration under 4C (39F) is generally acceptable. Lyophilized peptides are usually stable at room temperatures for several weeks or more, so if they will be utilized within weeks or months such storage is typically adequate.
However, for longer term storage (several months to years) it is more preferable to store peptides in a freezer at -80C (-112F). When storing peptides for months or even years, freezing is optimal in order to preserve the peptide’s stability.
